Changing Lives with Literacy
Executive Women International is committed to the international promotion of literacy. Chapters across North America have enlisted the aid of corporations, writers, teachers, and many others to promote reading and writing opportunities to children. Projects vary from Chapter to Chapter but all with the same goal, to make a lasting and positive impact in our communities.
Tulsa Dream Center
In 2026, the EWI of Tulsa Chapter’s hearts and efforts are focused on supporting the incredible work of the Tulsa Dream Center—an organization devoted to breaking the cycle of poverty, bringing healing to families, and changing the future for the next generation right here in our community.
Through their education initiative, Literacy Is For Everyone (LIFE), children in grades 1–5 receive personalized, one-on-one reading support—giving them not just the ability to read, but the confidence to dream, grow, and succeed. Today, more than 200 children are actively enrolled, with over 50 more waiting for the opportunity to receive help. Beyond literacy, thousands of children are impacted each year through after-school tutoring and programs that uplift entire families.
This year, EWI Tulsa has set a goal to raise $8,500 through the generosity of our member firms, individual members, and partner fundraising events. With your help, we hope to present a $10,000 check to the Tulsa Dream Center at our Reading Rally this summer—an investment that will directly impact children who are eager to learn and thrive.
We invite you to be part of this meaningful effort. No donation is too small—every contribution helps open a door for a child in need. At the same time, we encourage our Member Firms to consider making a larger gift, allowing us to extend our reach and create an even greater impact together.
This is more than a fundraiser—it’s a chance to change a story, uplift a family, and shape a brighter future for Tulsa’s next generation.
