EWI OF TULSA 2021-2022 PRESIDENT
____________________________________
Hello EWI of Tulsa.

The holiday season is upon us, and as I reflect on 2021 there are many reasons to be thankful. I am thankful for each of you and EWI of Tulsa. The support, professionalism, and sense of purpose of this Chapter is incredible. This is going to be a very productive year for us as the upcoming monthly programming, and the professional and personal development offerings will provide great value to you, our member firms, and our community.

We held a committee sign-up night at the November Chapter Meeting and it was a great success. The energy of our Committee Directors was fantastic, and I am thankful they share their time and talents with our Chapter. Committees are a lifeline for our Chapter, so please let me or any of our Committee Directors know if you are interested in serving. We welcome you to serve EWI with us.

Our next Chapter Meeting will be held on December 9th in the Bishops Building of Saint Francis South. This meeting will be a philanthropic program and the guest speaker is Regan Leake, Development Manager of The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. Ms. Leake will speak about the services Community Food Bank provides and how it greatly impacts the lives of so many people within our community. If you wish to donate, please bring canned goods and non-perishable food items to this meeting. We will send our donations with Regan that evening ensuring they are received for holiday distributions.

Lastly, I want to provide a couple of reminders and updates:
  • Please remember to RSVP for every chapter meeting using the link provided in the monthly meeting notice and Connect newsletter. If you are unable to attend a meeting please let our Sergeant-At-Arms Joni Whitehead know within 24 hours of the meeting so she can remove you from the headcount. No RSVP and no-shows will need to be invoiced to cover the meeting dinner expense.

  • Leading Ladies is back! Now that we are fully back to meeting in person, beginning with our December 9, 2021 Chapter Meeting we will begin tracking attendance for Leading Ladies.
My holiday wish is for you to have a healthy and safe Christmas and New Year. Together we can do great things!
