President's Letter

Greetings and welcome, March!

I am looking forward to spring, warmer days with more sunlight!

For most of my life, I favored the summer season.  Now, I am thankful for all seasons.  In the spring, I enjoy digging in the dirt, planting flowers, and dining outside on a patio.

In the summer, I enjoy basking in the sunshine, grilling, and mowing the grass.  Yes, I said mowing the grass!  I find it satisfying to mow, edge, weed eat, and then blow off any remnants of grass from the sidewalks and driveway.  It is a real bonus if it rains afterwards.
I like the fall mainly for the turning of the leaves and the cooler temperatures. It is during this time when I most enjoy making soups and baking cookies.  There are few things better than a bowl of homemade soup and cornbread dripping in butter.

During the winter months, I enjoy the holidays as I have fond memories of spending these with family and friends.  What do you like about the seasons?

February’s meeting drew a very positive response regarding our “Secret Valentine Reveal”.  From the feedback, I think we should do this again.  Eva, thank you for conceptualizing and organizing the fun event!  Tonya, thank you and the Hyatt for hosting us along with providing fabulous door prizes.

On March 2nd, LCAM will be open for registration!  Please visit with your executive about your attendance.  With Felicia serving as Corporate President, it is sure to be special and memorable.  Once registration is open, please let me know if you should have any questions.

Our March meeting will be a Firm Night at Stoney Creek Convention Center and Hotel.  I would encourage your attendance as they have many fun things planned.
I look forward to seeing you all on March 12th!

Respectfully and with my highest regards,

Trish
