July is the month that brings out the inner child in all of us. It's a time when we want to run through sprinklers, take a refreshing dip in the pool, and indulge in all the grilling and chilling that barbeque season has to offer. This month is always jam-packed with picnics, community cookouts, and garden parties. Perhaps it’s because of our Independence Day celebrations, or simply a happy coincidence, but July is a time for food, family, friends, and fun in the U.S. Glorious fireworks and happy reunions complete the festive vibe of July, making it one of the most beloved months of the year. Let's embrace the summer spirit and dance around in the sprinkler - after all, we only have a few precious weeks left to enjoy it!

          The experience at our June meeting was truly outstanding. The newly built Meals on Wheels facility was splendid, and learning about heart health was informative and insightful. The CPR training session was educational and empowering. It was delightful to witness the enthusiasm and excitement that the growth of our Chapter has brought. I am eagerly looking forward to discovering new opportunities to shine and develop personally and professionally in the company of like-minded individuals.

         I was privileged to attend the TEXOMA Forum with a couple of our other Chapter members, Lori Heerlyn and LaFonda Ehlers, hosted by the Oklahoma City Chapter.  I can surely vouch that such events help us connect with other professionals, share innovative ideas, and forge lifelong connections. Similarly, at LCAM, which is scheduled for September this year and will be held in Chattanooga, Tennessee, you get to experience this amazing network. It is a lovely event that I urge all to attend if possible. So, let's get ready to bloom even more together!
