EWI OF TULSA 2022-2023 PRESIDENT
____________________________________

Greetings Tulsa EWI Chapter!
Spring has sprung!!  Spring seems to be placed right into the perfect spot within our lives.  We walk through January with the biting cold constantly in our face.  Then we move into February and focus on love in many ways...loving a significant other, focusing love on family, or simply loving yourself.  Then comes my favorite season! Spring is my favorite because it brings all the beautiful blooming beauties out from their cold winter’s rest.  Rachel Carson, a marine biologist and nature writer, once said “There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature – the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after winter.”  This month will bring forward a month of refreshing and new growth.  I hope you dive in and embrace the growth no matter what season of life you may be in presently.

Speaking of growth, our membership committee has been doing a SPECTACULAR job!!  We had our first March to Membership drive and because of the success, we are going to have a second one before the month is over.  This is all due to YOU, our membership.  Without your dedication to the vision and purpose of EWI, without your recommendations, and without your enthusiasm to grow our Tulsa Chapter, it would not be possible.  Reminder – it is not too late to fill out and turn in the March to Membership form to Joni Whitehead, our Membership Recruitment Director.

I am very excited about our March meeting.  First, March is our anniversary month for EWI of Tulsa.  We will be 67 years old.  A great big congratulations to us!  Along with the celebration and festivities, we will also be holding a mini firm night and learning more about our member firms.  This night will give many of our member firms the opportunity to shine and showcase their products or information.  If you have ever been curious about what our member firms do, this is a great way to learn and discover great information about them.  Come and support our existing members, our new members, and our potential members!

Hope to see you there and always remember to Bloom Where You Are Planted!

Sincerely,
Tamara Conner
