Greetings Tulsa EWI Chapter!

April is an exciting time of year, with something special planned for every day. From April Fool's Day pranks to the flowers of springtime and beyond, there's always something new and different that can be enjoyed. For some it’s a month-long countdown until summer vacation officially begins; for others it marks the second quarter when financial budgets need to be reset. But most importantly, April signals the beginning of warmer temperatures and more hours of daylight--time when going outside becomes less about bundling up against chill winds and more about drinking in nature’s splendor! No matter what your plans are this April, don't miss out on all that this fun-filled month has to offer.

Enjoy the extra hours of sunlight, take some time to appreciate nature by going for a walk, and create new memories with family and friends. It can be hard to find things to do in April, but there’s really something for everyone. For the outdoorsy type, take advantage of the changing seasons and go on a camping trip or nature hike. Have an outdoor picnic or barbecue with friends and family. Plant some flowers in the garden or start your own vegetable patch. April is also a great time for sports, like golfing or tennis.

For those who are more indoorsy, there’s still plenty of fun to be had in April! Take some time to check out your local library and museums. Catch up on that book series you've been meaning to finish or watch some classic movies. Break out the board games and have a night in with family and friends. Get crafty and make something special for yourself or a loved one. April is an excellent time to start new hobbies or reignite old passions, so don't be afraid to try something new! No matter how you spend your April, make sure to savor the moment and take in all that this month has to offer. From the sunny days of spring to spending time with family, April is a special time of year that should be cherished! Enjoy! Be sure to add the April EWI meeting to your calendar for another fun April event and always remember to Bloom Where You Are Planted!

Sincerely,
Tamara Conner
