At July's meeting we had special guest speaker, retired Detective Sergeant Dave Walker, who spoke on Tulsa's current police climate and events.

Comments on Meeting:
- During these uncertain times "into the unknown" there is no playbook for creating a new norm. I commend Trish Richey for being the "genie out of the bottle" who has stepped up as EWI President with talent supported by her board members to organize and make the most out of virtual meetings that have been constructive, informative as with our guest speaker Retired Detective Sgt. Dave Walker this evening, and given a positive impact on EWI Tulsa.
- It was very nice to have scholarship recipients join us...and to participate. Appreciated remarks from Sgt. Dave Walker and his years of service to TPD and the Tulsa community.
- I loved that ASIST and EWISP winners joined. I wish we had them talk more. Excited about the incoming board, fabulous fresh faces with our seasoned gals!
What suggestions do you have for Program ideas as we prepare to start in-person meetings?:
- Timely information dealing with challenging times.
- I really enjoyed hearing the perspective of the retired officer. Thank you for bringing him to speak with us.
- I would love an in-person meeting, but want I understand the health and welfare of the members is most important at this time.

Removing Applications on a PC
Many people get annoying applications that pop up on starting a PC. Sometimes these apps are not even used by the user. Luckily, these items can be removed fairly easily.
CTRL+ALT+DEL your PC to bring up the menu.
Click on the Task Manager Option.
Click on More Details, then switch to the Startup Tab
Anything that has a status of Enabled on this page starts up when the computer first loads. Just highlight any programs not needed and click on the disable button.
