A Letter From Our President

April Meeting

Happy April

THANK YOU – THANK YOU – THANK YOU

Our 60th anniversary celebration was a huge success.  The location was nice, the decorations and fresh flowers were beautiful, the program and the video presentation was awesome, it was well attended, and everyone was dressed elegantly.  It was so nice to see members we hadn’t seen in a while.  I am confident we are posed for 60 more years of service to EWI.

Special thanks to Judy Russell and the members of the anniversary committee for your vision and commitment to EWI of Tulsa.  I truly enjoyed working with each of you and look forward to more opportunities.

Summer is just around the corner.  School will be over, and there'll be plenty of long, sun filled days on the horizon.  The close of another school year causes me to think about purpose, goals and next steps.  When I think about those three topics, I wonder are we fulfilling our purpose, meeting the goals of our founders, and what are our next steps to continue the growth and success during this bleak economy.  So I challenge you to get involved, join a committee, consider board service and continue to be an advocate.  Remember, everyone is part of the membership committee.  Thanks to all members for your time, talents, and contributions to this great organization.  We are successful because of all you do.

          Roses are Red
          Violet are Blue
What does EWI mean to you?
Some join for fun and networking too
Others for the friendship that last the years thru
While you might be drawn by the connections, careers and
          community…just to name a few
No matter the reason for joining with us
I hope that maintaining your membership will always be a must
I love EWI what about you
Tell me what does EWI mean to you?

Your servant leader,
 Felicia
