December 2015

A Letter From Our President

Happy Holidays,

I hold this position of President of EWI of Tulsa as quite a privilege and honor and I look forward to learning from you, serving with you and striving to help make this chapter the best in the entire organization.  Thank you for your vote of confidence.  We are on track to do some phenomenal things this year. We are phenomenal Women, that’s who we are.  I inquired…you responded.  I asked and you again said yes.  So thank you for continuing on this PATH with me.

It is hard to believe that we are winding down 2015 and soon will be cheering in a new year. It has been another fruitful and successful year with lots to be thankful for. As I look back on the strides we have made, I am reminded of the importance of a team effort, and I admire the individual contributions from outstanding EWI team members. Thanks for all you have done and all you will continue to do to make this chapter stand out.  We are fortunate to have great member firms and excellent resources, but what makes the true difference is our exceptional representatives.

The committees are working hard and meeting regularly to meet the needs of the chapter with new members, effective programs, inspirational speakers, a more interactive website and a new CONNECT.  I am excited about what the rest of this year has to offer and I know the best is yet to come.  Please join me as we continue to Create Your Own Path.

Thanks to the 2015 – 2016 board members for your energy, excitement, engagement and FLEXIBILITY.

Wishing you all the joys of the Season,

Felicia Senter

A Note from Maureen Quinn...

Thank you to my lovely EWI sisters who reached out to me via phone, email, cards, or prayers.  Your care and words of encouragement and hope meant so much and were a calm to my weary soul.  That I was able to share the cards with others in my family touched them as well.

May God bless you all for your kindness!  Maureen Quinn

BEST:  "The overall energy, starting on time, informational, and fun, lots of door prizes, the evening kept moving, and lots of new faces."

LEAST:  "Room set up did not allow for visiting, you could barely hear yourself talk, let alone the person across the table."

BEST:  "Great energy for the start of the new EWI year!  I feel it started the new leadership off on the right tone for the upcoming year."

LEAST:  "Location was great, but it was really hard to hear and move around the room.  Good food, just not enough room."
